Welcome to Rainbow Wahine Volleyball 2024!

Do you know what the common denominator is every single season regarding the success of the Rainbow Wahine volleyball program? It’s YOU!

Every year, the University of Hawai‘i women’s volleyball program finds itself at the top of the conference, bringing a championship back to the islands, including the last four seasons, and representing our state nationally in the NCAA Tournament. But, a key factor every year with the success is the environment YOU help create inside SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

There are some big changes this season and we want you to be the first to know as this may affect your current seats. Beginning in the 2024 season, the following changes will be made.

  • Team benches are moving from the area in front of Lower Level sections A and C to now in front of Lower Level sections FF and HH.
  • The Up Referee will move from the area in front of Lower Level section GG to now in front of Lower Level section B.
In essence, this new volleyball configuration will resemble the basketball court configuration with the same team benches and courtside seating. The purpose behind this adjustment is twofold: First, it standardizes the court configuration for all four sports held in SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center and eliminates the need for constant changing back and forth for our events management staff. Secondly, it does allow for a significant amount of new revenue that can be earmarked for the needs of the student-athletes.

We understand this may inconvenience some so our ticket office will assist to relocate those individuals upon request. Relocations will begin in July. Relocation requests can be done during your renewal process.

As a mahalo for your understanding and appreciation, we are also providing ten (10) ticket vouchers (per account) to attend our other events this 2024-25 sports year. Ticket vouchers will be sent out by late August to those who renewed their season tickets. If you have any questions regarding this change, please email us at athdir@hawaii.edu and we will promptly respond to your message.

For another year, Rainbow Wahine volleyball is in the top three for overall attendance in the NCAA at 6,258 fans per match. Volleyball is growing and reaching new heights nationally; regardless of the growth, we know two significant facts!
  1. Hawai‘i WINS!
  2. The fans of Hawai’i are always there to cheer them on!
The pride YOU take and we take in women’s volleyball is about our winning tradition along with the hardworking culture off the court. It’s about consistently supporting the young women who represent our program and our state with tremendous pride. We see it every year, and YOU make it a reality.

Head coach, alumna, and 2024 USA Volleyball Hall of Fame Inductee Robyn Ah Mow leads the way with her staff Kaleo Baxter and Nick Castello for an exciting 2024 campaign! The season begins with a seven-match non-conference homestand, followed by 10 Big West matches on our home Taraflex. If the three wins against UNLV, Colorado State, and Notre Dame from the spring schedule are any indication, then this will be a fun season for you and all your friends!

Some of your favorite student-athletes are returning this season, including Kate Lang, Tayli Ikenaga, Caylen Alexander, Jackie Matias, and Tali Hakas. Plus, you can’t forget out about rising stars Stella Adeyemi and Jacyn Bamis. The roster is full of talent and pride. They are excited to play for YOU every night!

Renew your tickets now, and we’ll see you in August!
